Kansas City Sub Shop Launches Satire Site – Doesn’t Know How To Stay In Their Own Lane

At 2:53 this afternoon, a Kansas City-based sub shop, Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs, went live with their own satire site, the Half-Baked Report, in a move that can only be described as “odd.” Explained as a ploy to get more people to buy their subs, CEO Anita Sammich defended the launch saying, “We saw that fake news was trending on Google and on the weird side panel on Facebook so we thought, if the people are excited about this, give them what they want! A 16” sub and some fake news.”

We also spoke to a company intern about the new site. He asked to remain nameless. “I believe I speak for all millennials when I say, this is the worst idea they’ve had since the time they decided to add pizza to the menu. Pizza at a sub shop? Ridiculous. This will backfire on them and when it does I’m jumping ship.”

It appears Goodcents has gone ahead and launched the site, despite Harold Noname’s harsh words. It is unclear whether or not anyone will even read this site. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as the story develops.
